Hubei Shenhai Outdoor Sports Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to establish its operations in Qingji Industrial Park in July 2022. The project occupies 110 mu of land, with a total agreed investment of 200 million yuan. The company boasts a complete industrial chain spanning product R&D, manufacturing, sales, the establishment of a water sports club, coach training, and the organization and operation of sporting events. It has an annual production capacity of 12,000 surfboards, 30,000 paddles, 50,000 hydrofoils, and 10,000 stand-up paddleboards—various high-end water sports equipment products. Thanks to its innovative strength and industry influence, the company has become a leading player in the sector. Its surfboard products were provided for use by multiple Olympic national teams at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and its hydrofoil equipment was designated as the sole official supplier for the newly added windsurfing-hydrofoil event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. In 2024, the company is expected to achieve an annual output value of 100 million yuan and generate tax and profit contributions of 13 million yuan.
